WHO we are and WHY we are

About Us
For the uninitiated, we are David and Rebekah Parks and we were married in Arkansas by a man named Puddin' (no kidding). We enjoy long walks under the stars and eating cheese. Our home is in Mississippi and our cats are named in tribute to The Dukes of Hazzard. Starting to get the idea?

ParksFolk.com was hatched in September, 2002, but as most things that I am involved with, it is an on-going project with no "end" in sight.  In general, things in THIS COLOR are to be clicked, and if something doesn't work then certainly feel free to, nay, PLEASE DO let us know.

Why a ParksFolk.com?
"So why have a ParksFolk.com anyway?", I can hear you asking. Well the main reason why we would put this little site together is because I am a certified computer nerd (CCN) and such behavior is simply expected of me. Also we have friends and family scattered from Arkansas to China and most everywhere in between, so we hope that this might be a good way to keep everyone informed as to what is happening with us. We certainly make no guarantee that these pages are always current up-to-the-minute, but if you check back often enough then you are bound to *occasionally* come across something new. So even though ParksFolk.com requires a time (and financial) commitment by us ... it isn't about us at all. No, it's about you ... the people.
